Chai has been a symbol of comfort, relaxation, and pride in our family for generations. It is enjoyed multiple times a day. Whether it be for alone time or a shared cup with family members. Whether it be meeting someone for the first time or sharing hundreds of cups with close friends. Back in the Fall of 2020, I was searching for opportunities to connect with and build memories with my young children. We came across cocoa bombs and we took joy in creating them together. The magic and awe in my children’s eyes sparked a feeling of intense joy in me. I aspired to recreate this experience in a more sophisticated way for adults, using premium ingredients and aesthetic design. After all, don’t we as adults deserve the joy of awe and wonder? This gave birth to the idea of our product.
I shared our new creation with some older family members. Upon first seeing this new creation, they held it up in their hands, turning it from side to side, and commented that it was artistic and shimmered like a pearl. That is where Chai Pearls found its name. As our family members poured the hot milk over their Chai Pearl, I saw the same amazement and magic in their eyes that I had seen in my children's eyes. As they held their warm cup of chai in their hands, pulled it to their lips, taking in the aroma and sipping their drinks, they told me it was delicious. They said it transported them back to memories of delicious chai in their childhood homes. That was quite a compliment! In the weeks to come, I shared some Chai Pearls with friends. There was a shared element in their individual reactions of amazement and culinary appreciation. They exclaimed that they had never tasted something as delicious as this before. They asked me to start creating more. I knew I was on to something special. I wanted to bring a product to the world that created an exciting experience using high quality products and exquisite taste - and that is how our company was born!
