What is a Chai Pearl?
A Chai Pearl is a sphere-shaped confectionary filled with special ingredients. When combined with milk, it results in a delicious chai latte drink. Each Chai Pearl is handcrafted with care in a labor of love.
How does it work?
First, gently place the chai pearl in your cup.
Next, simply pour hot milk over your Chai Pearl. When you do this, the outer sphere melts and releases the chai ingredients, filling your cup with exquisite flavor.
Finally, stir and enjoy. We bet you’ve never had a cup of chai like this before!
Do I have to cook the chai?
No. The only thing you have to do is heat your milk and pour it over the chai pearl. It’s that easy!
What flavors do Chai Pearls Come in?
To date, we have 3 flavors:
The Classic - which has flavors of sweet chai, organic rose and hand ground pistachio
Almond Chai - which has flavors of chai, organic butterfly flower and hand ground almond
Chocolate Chai - which has flavors of chocolate, chai, masala spices, and chocolate flakes
Does this taste like Kashmiri Chai?
Our fragrant, exquisite Classic Chai Pearl is similar to Kashmiri chai, but without the fennel seeds (somph).
Does your product contain nuts?
Yes, as mentioned in the descriptions above, our Classic and Almond Chai Pearls do contain nuts. Although our Chocolate Chai Pearl does not contain nuts, it may have come into contact with nuts.
Does your product contain dairy?
Yes, our product contains milk powder.
How hot should the milk be?
The milk should be boiling hot so that your Chai Pearl can fully dissolve. (Note: Drink will be hot, so sip carefully.)
How should I heat the milk?
Microwave instructions: Place 1 cup of milk (per drink you are preparing) in a microwave-safe vessel and warm for 2 minutes or until it reaches a boil.
